Minister for Village, Development Of Disadvantage Region and Transmigration (Mendes PDTT) Eko Putro Sandjojo on Monday (23/1) opened the event activities in the village of Serasehan IPMI International Business School in Jakarta.
In his speech, Eko said that Indonesia’s economic growth in 2015 by 5 per cent were able to suppress the growth figures are often decreased until reaching 4.8 percent from 6 percent in 2014.

Eko said that the presence of village funds are disbursed directly to the villages also pushed the economic growth rate in 2016, which again increased in October to 5.1 percent. The village funds allocated in 2015 to Rp 20.8 trillion and Rp 46.96 trillion in 2016.
“Although the village fund program is still new and there are still shortcomings, but the village fund was able to show that the village has a significant contribution in improving national economic growth,” he said.
